What do they do with cosmetics that have been smashed in photo shoots?
For example, photographers often tip out nail polish or smash cakes of foundation and photograph them in a spread - what do they do with those cosmetics? Isn't it a waste?
Answer: Yes, wasteful in terms of creating garbage, but they don't care because the cost of the wasted product is nothing compared to the profits that the ad will generate. I suppose the product looks more appealing because you can see the colour and texture better that way.
