What are the qualifications to work at Benefit Cosmetics or MAC Cosmetics?
I'm 18 years old and I have a lot of experience doing make up for my proms, cotillions, weddings, and other special occasions and I would love to work at MAC or Benefit because those are the 2 brands I use. I would like to start off at a MAC counter or Benefit counter at Macys or Nordstrom but do I need other specific qualifications or requirements I need to meet in order to apply? Help please?
Answer: I would try for Benefit, since they have a more limited amount of color. I have freelanced for MAC before, and they really do require more experienced artists, although it is true if you work at the counter they will send you to trainings.
